Printing
halftone film with any printer
|
To
do this tutorial you must first download the FREE EasyArt
actions "Halftone Printer"
from our down loads page.
This set of actions
will allow you to automatically print out your separations
with halftone dots on any printer.
Read the instructions (readme file) included with the download
on how to load actions into Photoshop. |
To use the "Printer
Halftone" actions you must have already separated
your image into individual spot color channels.
Next setup your printer.
Go to "Page Setup" ( File > Page Setup, Photoshop7 "Print
with Preview") select your printer and set it to print out
in black & white at high resolution and set the paper
orientation to portrait or landscape.
Select the "Registration Marks" and "Labels" boxes and click
OK (Photoshop 7 click "Done")
To print out your halftone select one of your separated channels
then go to the actions list and click on one of the EasyArt
green "Print Halftone ..." buttons (which ever Lpi you require,
make sure you use the same one for each channel you print
out) and that will output automatically through your printer
(if you have set it up). You only need to setup the printer
once, not for each individual channel.
To print out the next channel just select it and click on
the green "Print Halftone ..." button again |
